Textbook Refund Policy, Winter Quarter 2016
Textbooks bought on or after December 10, 2015 may be returned through January 9, 2016 for a refund, if the conditions below are met:
The original sales receipt must accompany all refunds. You must present your RECEIPT for a refund. There are no exceptions. There is no refund on shipping and handling charges.
Only credit card refunds will be given for purchases made with credit cards (using the same account number). A check will be issued for refund of purchases made with checks; it will be issued no earlier than three weeks after the purchase.
The books returned should be in the same condition as when purchased-with no writing in them and not soiled, dog-eared or creased. Shrink wrapped books should be returned unopened. Books with Access Codes, DVDs and/or CDs should be unopened. (The Bookstore staff will decide whether the condition is acceptable).
NOT RETURNABLE: Shipping and handling fees, lab and lecture packets, opened shrink wrapped books, study guides, syllabi, practice sets, software, special order items, opened dental sets, Access Codes, diskettes, flash drives, DVDs, CDs, Allied Health supply kits,opened package calculators, gloves and face masks are NOT RETURNABLE.
Only students dropping their Winter Quarter enrolled classes could return their books through January 16, 2016 with a Class Withdrawal Form issued by Enrollment Services.
Books for part-time classes are returnable by the end of the week of the first day of the class. The above conditions should be met. The purchase of the books must have ocurred during the period two weeks prior to the first day of the class (one week for Summer quarter)and seven days after the first day of the class.
The postmarked date on the package, or date of shipment, will be the date of return in determining if the return deadline was met on textbooks mailed back to the store.
